Instructions

PRODUCT LINE: if you select “commercial”, you will get a project based on the S Escalator family; if you select “infrastructure”, you will get a project based on the H Escalator family.

INCLINATION: there are two available angles of inclination: 30° and 35°. As for the former, this is the most popular inclination. However, you are required to select the inclination of 35°, which also presents an elegant appearance, with vertical rises higher than 6 metres (please, note that the document will not be produced if the above-mentioned rule is not followed).

STEPS ON LANDING PLATES: There are two options available: 2 or 3 steps at the upper and lower landing plates. It is advisable to select the 2-step configuration with an inclination of 35°. Please, note that you are required to select the 3-step configuration with an inclination of 30° and a vertical rise higher than 6 metres (please, note that the document will not be produced if the above-mentioned rule is not followed).

VERTICAL RISE: vertical rise between floor levels. If it is higher than 6 m, it is necessary to select the highest solutions.

STEP WIDTH: There are three available step widths: 600, 800, and 1000 mm. Only 800 mm (overall footprint size: 1345 mm) and 1000 mm (overall footprint size: 1545 mm) can be selected when planning your escalator online.

ARRANGEMENT: Single unit: it can be used as bi-directional escalator. Parallel: a bi-directional escalator including two parallel units (generally, an ascending escalator and a descending escalator)

OPERATIONAL MODE: If an inverter is needed, the escalator must be extended to 500 mm for efficient installation operations. This is why this option must be considered early in the design process.

SEISMIC REQUIREMENTS: Seismic elements might also be necessary, especially for buildings in seismic areas. For further information, please contact the draughtsman.
